Heat and Friction are our Enemies...

After waxing, heightened sensitivity, including redness, small bumps, and bruising, may last for 24-48 hours. Applying 1% hydrocortisone cream to bumps, using cold compresses or cool showers can help alleviate these effects. To prevent ingrown hair and maintain smooth skin, regular exfoliation with waXon Buff Off and moisturizing with waXon Smooth Off are recommended. Light exercise is acceptable, but heavy sweating should be avoided, and skin should be cleansed promptly after a workout. Refrain from tanning, hot tubs, or saunas for 48 hours post-waxing, and apply sunscreen to exposed areas. Avoid shaving between waxes to ensure finer and sparser hair growth, leading to more comfortable waxing experiences every 4-6 weeks.

My Hero(s)...

Exfoliant and Moisturizer are our best friends! In order to prevent ingrown hair and to keep the skin smooth between visits, be sure to both Exfoliate in the shower & apply oil to clean dry skin. This prevents hair getting trapped underneath skin causing unsightly bumps as well as the dreaded grow back itch.
